The Three Most Important Questions You'll Ever Ask (continued)

I sometimes think in my networking group that it's all about how I'm coming across during my 60-second business presentation. But chances are that as we go around the circle, each in turn speaking,

  • The person to my right who just finished their own presentation may be in a state of exhausted relief and thinking about how they came across
  • And the person to my left who is speaking next may be frantically editing their presentation in the inner conversation of their mind and not hearing a word I am saying.

Once again, just being aware tends to communicate a warmth and reality and presence as you speak or as you write.

Furthermore, if you can find a way to leverage off their own thoughts, words or experiences, and use these to illustrate your point, now their inner conversation is working for you instead of against you as you speak. You are on your way to becoming a master communicator!

So, try it out next time you find yourself communicating with others. Ask yourself the three questions:

  1. What's happening in the mind of my listener?
  2. What happened in the experience of my listener before I began to communicate?
  3. What's happening next?

Note how the impact of your communication mysteriously increases.

To your success and significance,

Try email marketing. It's fast, easy and inexpensive so you can communicate with your market audience on a regular basis and stay "top of mind" to them. I use iContact. It has all the features you need, including:

  • Contact management
  • The ability to create and format emails, blogs and RSS feeds
  • Autoresponders for series
  • A sign-up form for your Web site
  • Excellent training in how to use the tool
  • And more

Take a look at this powerful tool. It is central to a successful email marketing program. Don't try to patch your email marketing together with Outlook or some other less powerful program. It simply won't work.

PS: I promise, my book, the SuddenlyInSite Client Generator System, is nearing the day of its release.

  • Eleven cutting edge multimedia presentations capture your imagination and communicate the essence of each marketing strategy.
  • And each strategy has a hands-on "learn by doing" approach that involves you in the deepest, most significant way.

There is nothing like it available anywhere. I intend it to raise the bar for electronic information product on the Internet. And the great thing about it is that you can use it as a model in creating your own information product. The cutting edge technology is actually very simple, but powerful. Look for it very soon.
