How to publish an article in another person's e-zine.

Reap great benefits.

Here's another SuddenlyInSite Win-Win Internet Marketing Strategy. Publish an article in another person's e-zine and realize these great benefits:

  • You get business exposure to another person's contact list. This is an entirely new list of contacts nurtured and grown by another person with all the effort you yourself have used to grow your own contact list. You've just doubled your marketing effectiveness!
  • You build your credibility to a wider audience, based on how you write the article (see below).
  • You attract new contacts to your Web site and build your own contact list, based on how you write the article (see below).
  • You give the owner of the other e-zine the benefit of having an article of real value for their clients written by someone who openly endorses their business.

As I mentioned above, all these benefits come with a well-written article. Here's how to write it well:

  • Take time to understand the e-zine owner's business and target market. Your article needs to leverage off the messages they have been giving their market audience, and speak to their market's needs. I always view the e-zine owner's Web site. How do they describe their market? What products and services do they offer to respond to their market's needs?
  • Leverage your message off of the e-zine owner's current marketing message.
  • Restate the market's pain or need.
  • Endorse the services and products of the e-zine owner as a solution to the market's problems, and state how your own service or product is a natural compliment to the e-zine owner's solution.
  • Finally, provide a link to your home page where, following the SuddenlyInSite Top 10 Strategy #1, you have presented your "Process Solution" to the market's need, and you have placed your e-series sign-up form. See SuddenlyInSite Strategy #1 How to Create Your Magnetic Web site for complete instructions in how to set up your home page so it is ready to engage the visitors who will come to you as a result of the articles you write in the e-zines of other business professionals.

If you haven't yet received the free SuddenlyInSite Top 10 series, you can sign up at SuddenlyInSite's home page. If you have received the free series but lost the Strategy #1 article, you can view the entire series in the SuddenlyInSite Membership Area, or sign up again using another email address.

By the way, where do you find these "other e-zines" to post your articles?

  • Try your link partner's e-zines for starters (see SuddenlyInSite Top 10 Strategy #3 Link Partner Strategy).
